Indonesia Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Jakarta – Yogyakarta: Welcome to Indonesia. Depending upon your arrival time, connect the flight to Yogyakarta.

Day 2: Borobudur: Full day tour of Borobudur Temples. First visit Candirejo Village for an insight into Javanese culture. Next visit the world’s largest and most impressive Buddhist temple- Borobudur. On the return visit, Pawon Temple was built with volcanic stones.

Day 3: Yogyakarta – Bali – Ubud: Fly to Denpasar, Bali known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches, and coral reefs.

Day 4 Ubud: This morning visits the Monkey Sanctuary inhabited by hundreds of long tailed macaques. Time to walk in Ubud’ s bazaars before you drive through picturesque, terraced rice paddies to the Royal Palace where enjoy traditional Balinese dinner with dance.

Day 5 Ubud: Full day excursion to Munduk and Kintamani. Visit the Lake Danu Bratan Temple and take a walk through the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. Continue drive to Kintamani and visit to Batuan Village to see traditional painting art, see the magnificent view of active Mount Batur and Lake Batur view. Later visit Baisakhi Temple before driving back to Ubud.

Day 6: Ubud: Cooking lesson, learn to cook Nasi Goreng (an Indonesian staple) along with various other dishes at a cookery class.

Rest of the day at leisure Or Optional tours to visit coastal temples at Tanah Lot and Uluwatu to see the famous Monkey Dance.

Day 7: Ubud – Denpasar- Leave for home

Optional Extensions to Lombok, Komodo Island and Raj Ampat Islands.
