Day 1: Arrive in Melbourne: Welcome to Australia
Day 2: Melbourne: Morning tour of Melbourne and later excursion to Phillip Island to see the fairy penguins.
Day 3: Melbourne: Day excursion driving on the Great Ocean Road tour and to see the spectacular Twelve Apostles, one of the most iconic natural formations in the world.
Day 4: Melbourne – Cairns: Fly to Cairns. Enjoy a day exploring the rainforest and amazing landscapes of the Cape Tribulation wilderness area with a visit to Mossman Gorge Center and Cape Tribulation including a Daintree River Cruise.
Day 5: Cairns – The Great Barrier Reef: Day excursion to reef by boats, the Great Barrier Reef is a marine miracle. The 1,430-mile living coral masterpiece is teeming with diverse marine life, including reef sharks, manta rays, sea turtles and countless colorful fish. Snorkeling equipment and lunch included.
Day 6: Cairns – Alice Springs- Ayers Rock: Fly to Alice Springs where transportation and two nights are arranged at the Ayers Rock Resort.
Day 7: Ayers Rock: Join a thrilling 36-minute sunrise helicopter flight to see some of Australia’s greatest iconic landmarks at the closest regulated distance. For the rest of the day many optional activities to choose from.
Day 8: Ayers Rock – Alice Springs – Sydney: Drive to Alice Springs airport for flight to Sydney.
Day 9: Sydney: Morning tour of Sydney see the historic Rock area and the Opera House. Afternoon harbor cruise.
Day 10: Sydney: Day is at leisure to explore Sydney on your own
Day 11: Leave Sydney for home or begin Extension to New Zealand
