Hike on the Daintree Forest trails and spend a day snorkeling or diving on the Reef. Fly to the Ayers Rock to walk around the big rock (climbing the rock is not possible anymore). Fly to Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand in the North Island. See the rugged coastline and visit the Hobbit Movie set and take a boat ride in the Glow Worm Grotto, visit Rotorua and its hot springs to experience the Mitai Maori Village. See the volcanoes in Tongariro National Park. Drive past the spectacular coastline of Hawks Bay and few beautiful lakes to the southernmost city of Wellington. Fly across to Christchurch in the Southern Island. Try some whale watching, or tram touring followed by driving along the coast to see the Split Apple Rock a most amazing sight. Next take the TranzAlpine train 5-hour spectacular journey to Greymouth then a 3-hour bus ride to Franz Joseph Glacier. Continue driving through the most beautiful countryside of the South Island to Queenstown.
