The People’s Republic of China is the world’s most populous country, with a population of around 1.4 billion, it covers approximately three million seven hundred thousand sq miles, it is the third largest country by total area.

China is a country of immense diversity in terrain, climate, historical sites, landscapes and especially people. There are 56 officially recognized ethnic groups. The largest is the Han Chinese, numbering approximately 900 million, who live in almost every region of the country.
