Tanzania & Zanzibar Itinerary

Day 1: On arriving at Kilimanjaro international airport your guide will meet you and drive you to The Lake Manyara National Park, its famous tree-climbing lions seem to have gained almost mythical status and a vibrant flock of flamingos.

Day 2: Enjoy views of Mt Kilimanjaro and a scenic drive through Lake Manyara – The extraordinary concentration of birdlife has made this place world-renowned among ornithologists. Continue drive to Ngorongoro Crater Park.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Park– It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Morning and evening safari.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National park– passing through Olduvai Gorge, renowned site where fossil remains of early humans spanning 2 million years have been excavated. Afternoon time for a safari in Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park– Morning and afternoon safaris. Serengeti is an area of untamed natural beauty. Today see the ‘big five’, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park– Another full day of nature activities, during some months it is highly recommended that you witness the mass migration and even the explosive Mara River crossings.

Day 7: We drive today to the Tarangire National Park wide panoramas of open acacia woodland and grass savanna, where huge herds of Elephants and other unique animals, such as fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser Kudu roam free, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard.

Day 8: Morning another nature drive in the park. On the plains of Tarangire, dotted with ancient baobab trees, elephants gather in herds hundreds strong, scratching dry riverbeds in search of underground springs. Later drive to Kilimanjaro airport for flight home.
