Botswana Itinerary

Day 1 – 4

Kalahari Game Reserve x 3 nights

Arrive Maun airport by flight from Johannesburg or from Victoria Falls. Hop aboard a light aircraft flight to the enormous Central Kalahari Game Reserve where you will be met to your exclusive camp set up deep in the bush.

See Kalahari’s black-maned lions, leopard, foxes and other desert rarities. During the day, wander giant fossil riverbeds, pans and savannah on the lookout for oryx, cheetah, giraffe and more. Each night return to camp for hearty three-course meals by the fire. The stargazing here is exceptional.

Day 4 – 5

Boteti River- MAKGADIKGADI CAMP

Drive to Meno at Kwena, a quirky little camp perched on a rocky clifftop above the Boteti River. Spend a leisurely afternoon watching from the pool as elephants and zebra gather below to drink.

In the morning, spend some incredibly special time walking with Zu/’hoasi Bushmen whose ancestors have lived here for tens of thousands of years, learning a little about their culture (among the oldest on earth) and unmatched tracking skills.

Day 6 – 8

Mobile Safari in Okavango Delta

Drive north into the Khwai area of the Okavango. During your days here, explore this corner of the Delta on game drives on the search for lion, leopard, and wild dog as well as many elephants. Guided game walks are a thrilling way to experience the wild in the famed Okavango Delta.

You will enjoy the waters by traditional poled mokoro canoe. Being private, you can focus on finding your favorite animals or start your dawn activities a little. After a final goodbye, board a light aircraft for a scenic flight back to Maun.
